HELMETTES GET THE BUGS

On Saturday, May 19, Helmettes where seen at a Nostalgia evening
at the Amsterdam Paradisio with 'The Bugs'.
Pieter & Joris, though happy too see some familiar faces and
enjoying a (plastic) glass of beer, tried to keep a low profile before they
got spotted by, long time fan, Jet K. (formerly with ‘De Scabs’).
The stars' presence did not get unnoticed by the slyly paparazza Diana Ozon.

HELMETTES MAKE NEW SONGS.
Helmettes are working on some brand new songs.
Recently Helmettes got together in their own, private, Attick Studio to record new material
and remix some older stuff. We do not know when the new songs will be ready for release.
Do keep in touch with these pages if you want to download new Helmettes material.
Our new office temp, Dirk van B. sneaked in the studio and took some revealing pictures.
MORE TECHNIQUE?

According to Dirk, Helmettes are using the newest techniques to record their latest songs.
There is even mention of 1 or 2 back up singers. "I hope those voices can be digitaly adjusted",
said Dirk. Songs they where recording have beautiful titles like; "Who Made That Rock Roll?",
"Thank You Mr. Darwin", "No Helmet", "Vivre comme Picasso à Paris". "Modern Dutch" and "Baby Married A Greek"

HELMETTES - THIRTY YEARS.
This year it’s thirty years ago that in Amsterdam two of the best, creative, talented,
puberty hitting, pretty & petty, musically wandering and wondering,
badly educated, jobless but still full of energy, Dutch,
teenage boys got together in a “punky’ record store to write some tunes.
Let’s see if we can think of something to remember this event.
